Swansea vs Burnley: Premier League preview

Sean Dyche’s Burnley side travel to Wales to take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Burnley were 2-0 winners in November’s reverse fixture at Turf Moor. Former Swansea player Jack Cork and Ashley Barnes were the goalscorers on the day.

Swansea moved out of the relegation zone last weekend thanks to their 1-1 draw at Leicester.

The Swans progressed to the 5th round of the FA Cup on Tuesday night, annihilating Notts County in their 4th round replay.

Tammy Abraham, Nathan Dyer, Kyle Naughton, Wayne Routledge and Tom Carroll were among the scorers in the 8-1 victory, which extends Swansea’s unbeaten run in all competitions to eight matches.

Burnley, meanwhile, are without a win in 10 matches. The Clarets earned a valuble point at home to league leaders Manchester City last weekend after a 1-1 draw.

Despite their poor form, Burnley remain 7th in the table thanks to their superb start to the campaign.
