Germany vs Ukraine: Match preview
Germany will be looking to get their Nations League campaign back on track this weekend following a mixed start to the competition.
The Germans have won just once in their first four games and have taken just six points.
Currently, they are ahead of Ukraine on goal difference and are a point behind leaders of League A Group 4, Spain.
Joachim Löw’s side were forced to battle back from 2-0 to draw 3-3 with Switzerland in their previous outing in the competition.
Germany were in action on Wednesday as a heavily rotated side defeated the Czech Republic 1-0.

Ukraine stun Spain in last Nations League outing
Ukraine produced a shock result in their previous Nations League outing as they defeated Spain.
Victor Tsyhankov scored the only goal of the game in Kyiv to put them back in contention in the group.
However, their last meeting with Germany, which came last month, saw them lose 2-1.
They will also be looking to improve upon Wednesday’s performance which they lost 2-0 to Poland.
Germany team news vs Ukraine
Germany are set to recall a number of their big hitters who were rested for their friendly against the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
The likes of Leroy Sane, Timo Werner and Serge Gnabry are all set to return to the German line-up on Saturday.
Oliver Baumann has been forced to withdraw with the squad as a measure of precaution after members of the Hoffenheim tested positive for COVID.
Jonas Hofmann is believed to have suffered an injury in Wednesday’s match and will also miss the game.
Benjamin Henrichs and Robin Gosens are both doubts for Saturday’s match.
