Crystal Palace vs Liverpool – 101 Great Goals prediction: Crystal Palace 0-3 Liverpool

Liverpool to beat Crystal Palace 3-0 with Bet365 is 12/1

With Mohamed Salah and the rest of Liverpool’s attack on fire, it’s hard to look past a Liverpool victory.

Crystal Palace have only won one of their last six Premier League matches at home. Although, to be fair to the Eagles, four of those matches have been against Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Who will win?

Crystal Palace are an attractive looking 5/1 to win this match.

Liverpool are the clear favourites with Bet365, at 1/2.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Premier League preview

Liverpool take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday. The match will see former Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson face his old club.

Prior to the international break, the Reds beat Watford 5-0. Mohamed Salah scored four goals and Roberto Firmino got the other.

The Egyptian begins the weekend as the league’s leading goalscorer on 28 goals – four more than Harry Kane’s tally.

With seven matches remaining, Salah is well on course to break the all-time record for most goals in a Premier League season (31).

Jurgen Klopp’s side begin the weekend in 3rd place, two points behind rivals Manchester United.

Can Crystal Palace cause an upset?

Palace moved up to 16th place last time out after their 2-0 away win at Huddersfield. James Tomkins and Luka Milivojevic scored the Eagles’ goals.

The win saw Palace keep their first clean sheet since January and ended a seven-match winless streak.

Palace are far from safe, however. They begin the weekend just two points above the relegation zone, and they have played one match more than the two sides below them.

No side has scored more goals on the road this season than Liverpool’s tally of 35. Crystal Palace, meanwhile, have the third worst home record this season.

Sadio Mane scored the only goal of the game in the reverse fixture at Anfield in August.

Crystal Palace team news vs Liverpool

Palace are hoping that Wilfried Zaha will be fit for Saturday. The winger withdrew from the Ivory Coast squad after taking “quite a few kicks” at Huddersfield.

The match is likely to come too soon for Joel Ward, who is nearing a return. January signing Alexander Sorloth is expected to miss out with a hamstring strain, while Jeffrey Schlupp is also sidelined.

Bakary Sako, Julian Speroni, Scott Dann, Jason Puncheon, Connor Wickham remain long-term absentees.

Mamadou Sakho, Christian Benteke and Martin Kelly are all in contention to face their former club.

Liverpool team news vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool suffered a number of casualties during the international break.

Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson picked up injuries against the Netherlands and Hungary respectively.

Emre Can withdrew from the Germany squad due to an ongoing back injury, although he is likely to be fit for Saturday.

Nathaniel Clyne is nearing a return from a back injury, but Saturday’s game might come too soon for the full-back.

Dejan Lovren is a doubt with an ankle injury.

Liverpool might also have one eye on their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Manchester City on Wednesday.
