Betting prediction: Cheltenham Town 0-4 Manchester City
Manchester City’s rampant domestic form sets them up to continue the trend as they travel to Cheltenham Town in a real David versus Goliath clash.
City have not tasted defeat in the Premier League since the 21st of November, while winning eight of ten during the same period. Pep Guardiola’s side are coming off a comfortable 2-0 home win against upstarts Aston Villa.
Cheltenham Town are in the midst of a poor period in League Two; a seven-match spell without a win while finding the back of the net just three times over the course of their barren stretch. They did however break their duck temporarily in a 2-1 extra-time win in the FA Cup Third Round against fellow League Two outfit Mansfield Town.
Cheltenham Town vs Manchester City: Recommended bets
Gabriel Jesus to score first. After only being given thirty-minutes against Aston Villa on Wednesday night, the Brazilian international is in-line to receive a start at the weekend. Still not the preferred choice at centre forward, the former Palmeiras forward will look to take any chance he gets.
Over 3.5 goals. There is never any intended disrespect, but the gap in class on display should make for a considerable chance that a City goal-glut is on the cards.

Cheltenham Town vs Manchester City: Match preview
The 2020-21 campaign did not start as well as many would have hoped on the blue side of Manchester. After dropping points in five of their first eight league fixtures, many wondered – despite City walking their Champions League group – if they would once more lose out in the race to Premier League honours.
Since then, City have been on fire domestically; the in-form side in the Premier League.
Despite the slow start on the home-front, Pep’s Citizens have charged within two points of city and league rivals Manchester United, with a match in hand on to top it off. It hasn’t been the same on the goalscoring front for City, however. No player in the first-team has hit more than five goals in the league this term, leading to questions if Guardiola was prepared to sanction a move for a centre forward this month. Irrespective of the questions being raised, City’s all-round play of late has been nothing short of excellent.
As for League Two outfit Cheltenham Town, recent form should not be seen as catastrophic on the whole. Manager Michael Duff has orchestrated The Robins to sitting in 6th place, occupying a valuable promotion playoff spot at current.
Even if the Whaddon Road outfit was in the domestic form of their lives, it is virtually impossible to see an avenue for them to perpetrate what would surely go down as one of the greatest upsets in FA Cup history.
Capable of hitting their opponent on the break while also taking their chances via set-pieces, Cheltenham have their work cut out for them. Normally, Cheltenham are a side that enjoys the balance of possession, who play with two-banks of four who try to hit teams on the break.
Cheltenham Town team news vs Manchester City
Manager Michael Duff has no injury concerns in the run-up to the FA Cup tie.
Few changes – if any – are likely to feature in a preferred 3-5-2 that the English headmaster has relied on all-season long.
Manchester City team news vs Cheltenham Town
Kyle Walker is a doubt in the run-up to the weekend after coming off injured against Aston Villa on Wednesday night. Joao Cancelo could deputise in his natural position in his stead.
Kevin De Bruyne is also unlikely to feature for City after he sustained a leg injury against Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Aymeric Laporte could be in contention for minutes as he nears a full return to the first-team squad after a muscle strain.
No other fitness concerns exist for Guardiola, and he could even be set to utilise young forward Liam Delap, who did feature against Birmingham City in the previous round.
