Sergio Aguero vs Mohamed Salah vs Harry Kane

In gameweek 27, the Premier League enjoyed a few sparkling performances up front.

Tottenham started the round with a 1-0 win over Arsenal in the north London derby.

Harry Kane was again the hero for Spurs as he rose like a salmon to head home a left-wing cross from Ben Davies.

Man City took on Leicester, and the Sky Blues were once against rampant.

After a third minute Raheem Sterling goal, Sergio Aguero scored four times.

While Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was again on the scoresheet in the 2-0 away win at Southampton.

So which striker is the best bet to be top scorer?

Man City’s Sergio Aguero top goalscorer odds

Before the Leicester match, Aguero was 11/2 to be the EPL’s top goalscorer with Paddy Power.

Aguero’s four goals against the Foxes means the Argentine is now on 21 goals for the season.

Crucially, Gabriel Jesus remains injured for Man City. That means Aguero is likely to be used week in, week out for Pep Guardiola.

City still have a few hard matches to come – Arsenal (a) and Chelsea (h) in the next two gameweeks. But then they also face Stoke, Brighton, Swansea, West Ham and Huddersfield.

Aguero could easily end the season top of the scoring charts.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah top goalscorer odds

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been the second favourite, priced a 10/3.

Salah has 22 goals this season following the match at Southampton on Sunday.

Considering Salah’s fixtures and form from here until the end of the season, he is more than capable of being the top scorer in the league.

Liverpool only have to face two of the top six. They take on Man United at Old Trafford, and they need to go to Chelsea in the penultimate game of the season.

It’s also true that Jurgen Klopp’s men also need to face Everton at Goodison Park.

But then they’ve also matches against West Ham, Newcastle, Watford, Stoke and Brighton all at Anfield.

But will Salah be rotated, especially if Liverpool progress in the Champions League?

Tottenham’s Harry Kane top goalscorer odds

After his goal against Arsenal, Harry Kane is the league’s top scorer with 23 goals.

Will the Tottenham striker maintain his two goal advantage over his competition?

Tottenham still have a few difficult fixtures on their schedule against top six rivals. Spurs face Chelsea away and Man City at home.

But then they’ve also got matches against Huddersfield, Newcastle, Watford, Stoke and Brighton.

Kane is also unlikely to be rotated as Spurs have limited options if he doesn’t play.

Tottenham’s Kane, who was the 4/9 favourite with Paddy Power, must still be the one to back.
