Burnley to win 1-0 at Brighton is 13/2 with Bet365

Only two sides have won more points on the road this season than Burnley.

Brighton vs Burnley: Premier League preview

Brighton & Hove Albion host Burnley at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

High-flying Burnley temporarily moved up into the top four this week following their 1-0 win over Stoke on Tuesday.

Ashley Barnes’ 89th-minute winner secured a third victory in four for Sean Dyche’s side. Following the match, Dyche claimed he was ‘the proudest man in Proudsville’.

Worryingly for Brighton, there are only two teams in the division who have taken more points away from home than Burnley this season.

Brighton’s poor run continues

It was three defeats on the spin for Brighton on Wednesday night, following their 2-0 loss at Spurs.

Chris Hughton’s side were made to rue their chances against a clinical Spurs side, in a game which could have easily ended in a different result.

The Seagulls are without a win in their last six matches, scoring just once in their last five.

Nick Pope will continue in goal in Tom Heaton’s injury absence.

Burnley confirmed that Robbie Brady successfully underwent knee surgery this week to repair a torn tendon.

Dean Marney could come back into contention, while Jonathan Walters is a long-term absentee.

Ben Mee and Matt Lowton could both return, although former Brighton player Stephen Ward is a doubt after picking up a knee injury on Tuesday. A final decision on the full-back will be made on Friday.

Ward is one of a number of players in the Burnley squad who have previously represented Brighton. Ashley Barnes, Chris Wood and Sam Vokes could all face their former club.
