Gameweek 27: Assessing Sergio Aguero as Triple Captain
Yes, we got carried away and once again Pep Guardiola’s team selection left us high and dry somewhat.
But, Triple Captain Sergio Aguero did ok with one goal at Sunderland. Perhaps we failed with this punt, but it made sense on paper.
A final score of 76 means we pushed up to 39,034 in the world and were 26 points better than the average.
Our lack of Harry Kane is beginning to bite but the Spurs striker is not in action this weekend with just four games to be played in the Premier League. More of that below.
We made a punt last minute to go with John Stones but were screwed by Pep benching the former Everton defender for the second game v Stoke.
Yes, we didn’t lose out on the -4 we paid, but we could have made good gains with a Stoke defender instead.
The 101 Great Goals league
With a 12 point lead at the top of the 101 Great Goals league, Dalkeith Divided remains the team making all the running.
A whopping 91 point gameweek has seen the Australian move up to the summit with a fantastic decision to play Lee Grant in goal.

Gameweek 28: Just four games
Due to the FA Cup quarter-finals this weekend, we are missing plenty of teams and only four matches will be played:
We have made one change this week: Zlatan out due to a blank and then his suspension for two Premier League games.
In comes Fernando Llorente who could well make hay at Hull on Saturday. The Spaniard plus Gylfi gives us good Swansea attacking potential.
Big Rom takes the armband
We are also covered on Everton, with Romelu Lukaku taking the armband and Funes Mori at the back.
We had seven players after bringing in Llorente but then Matt Phillips has been ruled out pre-game by Tony Pulis and Stephen Kingsley won’t play.
So, we have the cash to bring in a Liverpool midfielder for eight players. It’s pot luck which one will perform, our choice is Philippe Coutinho.
It isn’t quite a -4 point hit as long as he gets the 2 points for playing 60 minutes.
It should be an absolutely fascinating Gameweek. And will likely come down to which Liverpool midfielder bags the most points on Sunday v Burnley.
The deadline is at 14:00 Saturday afternoon ahead of three Premier League games.
Good luck everyone!
