Panic on the streets of Madrid

Videos are emerging of crazy violence erupting on the streets of Madrid before tonight’s Champions League clash. Legia Warsaw Ultras are running riot on the Spanish capital’s streets ahead of the Champions League game with Real Madrid. Fans of the Polish club can be seen fighting with riot police in the video below. The Ultra group are building a fearsome reputation.

Their game against Borussia Dortmund in Warsaw wasn’t without incident either. Hooligans caused pandemonium in the stands while their team was being battered on the pitch.

They fought stewards with photos circulating of one thug pepper spraying his victim. Marca reports that trouble has been brewing in the hours leading up to tonight’s game.

They wrote: “Ahead of their Champions League match with Real Madrid, Spanish police have arrested three Legia supporters after an altercation in a Madrid bar in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The Poles – three men aged 31, 33 and 34 – tried to rob a cash register, a mobile phone and threatened two waitresses at the venue on Calle Illescas in the capital’s La Latina neighborhood.”
