Only three 18-year-olds, Johan Vonlanthen, Wayne Rooney and Renato Sanches, have scored at European Championship but Musiala could join that list this summer.
Musiala spent his formative years in Stuttgart and then Croydon, meaning he was eligible to play for England, Germany and Nigerian, the latter through his mother.
Despite playing twice for England U21s in November 2020, scoring against Albania at Molineux, he declared for Germany shortly after.
Earlier in 2021, Musiala made his first two Germany appearances, against Iceland and North Macedonia, and impressed enough to be included in Joachim Löwâs Euro squad.
Heâs one of eight Bayern Munich players to make the cut and has already won four major honours, coming on in the FIFA Club World Cup Final.
Overall, Musiala made 37 appearances this season, scoring seven times, including his first Champions League goal away to Lazio in February.
That night, he became the youngest Englishman to score in the Champions League before pledging his allegiance to Germany the following morning.
Will he help fire Die Mannschaft to their ninth major title this summer?
