Alex Neil is yet to fully turn things around at Stoke, with results being very inconsistent since his arrival back in August. In the last five games alone, his side have won two, lost two and drawn which in many ways is the story of their season. Last time out saw them beaten 1-0 by Rotherham, something which the manager will be far from happy about after winning the two games prior to that encounter.
Stoke are strong favourites for this one though and Neil has already faced Coventry this season during his Sunderland tenure, so he will know what to expect. The bookies are pricing the home win at 23/20.
Coventry have picked up two vital wins in their last couple of games, with 1-0 victories over Cardiff and Sheffield United. The Sky Blues really need that form to continue if they are to claw themselves out of relegation trouble after a shocking start to the season, on and off the pitch.
Thankfully, after embarrassingly having home games called off due to the state of the playing surface, Cov are now back on home turf. Even with their recent wins, the away side are outsiders for this one, with bookies pricing them at 11/5 to get all three points.
