Blackburn have now gone four matches without a win in a big dent to their promotion hopes.

Rovers were held to a 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on the weekend.

Foprteunley, sides around them have also faltered and they remain third in the table.

However, they are now four points off second and have played two games more than Bournemouth.

Heckingbottom will remain without the attacking trio of McGoldrick, O'Connell and Brewster on Wednesday.

All three players are struggling with injury however, Billy Sharp has done a great job filling in for them.

Blackburn Rovers team news

Blackburn have been dealt a huge injury blow with Ben Brereton Diaz suffering ligament damage.

The forward is now set for several weeks on the sidelines as he recovers.
