Date: April 2, 2021
Kick-off time: 3:00 pm, April 2, 2021 (UK time)

Betting prediction: Preston 0-2 Norwich
Norwich are well on course to win the league, with an eight-point lead over 2nd. The Canaries have a superb away record this season and can expect to pick up another three points on Friday.
Preston have only picked up one point in their last five matches and will be keen to avoid a fourth consecutive defeat. Although they are not at immediate risk of being sucked into a late relegation scrap, that could change if teams around them start picking up wins.
Preston vs Norwich: Recommended bets
Norwich to keep a clean sheet. Norwich have kept shutouts in three of their last five away games. The Championship leaders have only conceded 17 goals in 19 away matches this season. Preston have failed to score in any of their last three matches.
Teemu Pukki to score. Pukki scored three goals over the international break and will be eager to pick up where he left off before the international break. The Finnish striker has 11 goals in his last 10 games for the Canaries. He also scored against Preston in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

Preston vs Norwich: Match preview
Domestic football resumes on Friday following the international break, with Preston North End welcoming Championship leaders Norwich to Deepdale.
Prior to the international break, Norwich were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Blackburn Rovers, ending a run of nine consecutive victories. Kenny McLean gave Norwich the lead before the hosts conceded a Sam Gallagher equaliser.
Despite dropping two points, Norwich hold a commanding lead at the top of the Championship table. Daniel Farke’s side are sitting on 83 points, eight ahead of Watford in 2nd. It would take a collasal collapse for Norwich to not finish in the automatic promotion spots.
Norwich have – by far – the best away record in the league. The Canaries have picked up 41 points from 19 away matches, at least eight more than any other side.
Norwich have won five consecutive away games heading into Friday’s game, the most recent of which was a 2-0 win at Nottingham Forest.
Preston suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Luton Town before the international break, extending their unbeaten run to five matches. The Lilywhites are 16th in the table on 44 points, nine above the relegation zone.
Preston’s home record ranks 21st in the league, with just five wins and 19 points picked up at Deepdale. Only two teams have scored fewer goals at home than Preston this season (15).
Norwich and Preston played out a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road in the reverse fixture in September. Preston twice took the lead, first through Scott Sinclair and then through Darnell Fisher. Teemu Pukki and Przemyslaw Placheta netted Norwich’s equalisers.
