Tottenham vs PSV Eindhoven match preview

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad has been really tested over the past week and Tuesday will be another hurdle to clear

Spurs were in action three times in just six days, with Tuesday making it four games in nine days.

In that period, Tottenham secured two wins, whilst suffering a defeat against Manchester City.

Following a victory at West Ham United in the League Cup, Pochettino’s men secured an impressive win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Champions League is now the focus for Pochettino with three points now a must.

Tottenham need to better Inter Milan’s result at the San Siro against FC Barcelona to stand a chance of reaching the knockout stage.

Inter claiming three points over the Catalan Giants and Spurs failing to win would see them eliminated.

PSV dominating the Dutch league

Marc van Bommel’s side have been very impressive domestically this season given their strong lead at the top of the Eredivisie.

The Dutch club have claimed 11 wins from 11 games in the league.

However, defeat to second division side RKC Waalwijk last week will have somewhat reduced the mood.
