Competition: UEFA Champions League
Date: November 24, 2020
Kick-off time: 5:55 pm, November 24, 2020 (UK time)

Betting prediction: Rennes 0-2 Chelsea
Chelsea were comfortable winners when the sides met in the reverse fixture at the start of the month, and there has been little since to suggest there will be a different outcome on Tuesday night.
A win for the Blues would confirm their progress to the round of 16. Rennes currently occupy bottom spot in Group E and will realistically be targeting a third-place finish that would transfer them into the Europa League.

Rennes vs Chelsea: Match preview
Rennes welcome Chelsea to Roazhon Park for their Champions League Group E clash on Tuesday night.
Chelsea won 3-0 at home when the two sides met on 4 November. Timo Werner scored twice from the penalty spot. Tammy Abraham added a third shortly after half time. Rennes played more than half the match with 10 players following Dalbert’s red card.
Frank Lampard’s side have won five consecutive matches in all competitions and are unbeaten in their previous 9. Their last defeat (excluding penalty shootouts) was at home to Liverpool 13 matches ago.
The Blues won 2-0 at Newcastle on Saturday, although their performance probably deserved a few more goals. The victory leaves Chelsea 3rd in the table, two points of joint-leaders Liverpool and Spurs.
Rennes suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Bordeaux on Friday night, which leaves them 7th in Ligue 1. Rennes have now lost five of their last six matches, failing to score in four of those.
Like Sevilla, Chelsea are unbeaten in their three matches in Group E. The Blues are on 7 points following two wins and a draw and are currently above Sevilla on goal difference.
Rennes are yet to pick up a win from their three matches, but they’re still in with a shout of finishing third as they find themselves level on 1 point with Russian side Krasnodar. A surprise victory on Tuesday could even put Rennes back in the mix for a top-two finish.
The other group match, Sevilla’s game in Krasnodar kicks off at the same time on Tuesday.
Chelsea have won eight of their previous 19 matches against French sides. Last season they beat Lille 2-1 both home and away.
Rennes are unbeaten in five previous home matches against British sides, including last season’s 3-1 home win against Arsenal.
Rennes team news vs Chelsea
Dalbert will miss out through suspension. The left-back was sent off in the reverse fixture in London earlier in the month. Adrien Truffert is set to start in that position.
Daniele Rugani is ruled out with a hamstring injury he picked up in October.
Teenage sensation Eduardo Camavinga missed the reverse fixture through injury but is expected to start this time around.
Faitout Maouassa and Jonas Martin remain sidelined.
Chelsea team news vs Rennes
Christian Pulisic remains sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Thiago Silva could return to the starting eleven. The Brazilian was rested on Saturday after his late return from international duty.
Tammy Abraham has scored in three consecutive Chelsea appearances and should start up front.
Fixture congestion could force Frank Lampard into some rotation, with Jorginho and Cesar Azpilicueta most likely to benefit.
Kai Havertz is set to miss out again. The German is still isolating after testing positive for Covid-19.
Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is set to face his former club. Mendy joined Chelsea from Rennes in September.
