Lionel Messi, Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and co. will welcome Juventus to Paris in the Champions League on the opening week of action with Paris Saint-Germain and the Serie A giants both looking to remain unbeaten this league season in the game of the week in Europe.
PSG’s start to their Ligue 1 title defence has so far been pretty much unstoppable. They did, however, draw with Monaco drew 1-1 in Paris, which did put an end to their perfect start. Nevertheless, it does mean they are unbeaten having still registered a stunning 24 goals and let in only four so far.
PSG also beat Nantes for the second time this campaign after previously beating them 4-0 in the Trophee des Champions to kick off the French season. In Ligue 1, however, Neymar would get yet another goal, as Mbappe scored twice in the game too. PSG also managed to secure excellent wins against Lille and Montpellier in the league, beating them win 7-1 and 5-2 respectively, while the champions also hammered Clermont Foot 5-0 away from home on the opening day of action.
Juventus, however, are struggling right now, despite being unbeaten. It’s been a struggle to the new Serie A season for them with just two wins from their five games so far, drawing the other three. Over the weekend, the club drew 1-1 with Fiorentina, as they also registered draws against Sampdoria and Roma in Serie A too, having led in both games. Their only other wins so far have come against Sassuolo and Spezia in the league, where they scored a combined five goals and let in zero.
