Manchester City produced an impressive turnaround against Paris Saint-Germain last week to win 2-1 in Paris.

Riyad Mahrez’s stunning free-kick in the Parc des Princes gives Pep Guardiola’s side the lead heading into the second leg.

The French champions now face the daunting task of going to the Etihad and having to win.

City have lost just three matches at home all season and with a place in the Champions League Final on the line, there is unlikely to be any complacency.

Manchester City vs Paris Saint-Germain: Match preview

Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions on Saturday to claim the second part of a potential treble.

A heavily rotated City side cruised to a 2-0 to win over Crystal Palace as they added the league title to their League Cup trophy.

Now the full focus is on ending their wait for their first-ever European Cup.

They placed one foot in the final with a 2-1 win over PSG in the first-leg.

Goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez helped them to come from behind and defeat the French champions.

PSG’s nightmare scenario

PSG are at risk of ending the season with no Ligue 1 title and no Champions League title.

The French champions currently trail Lille by one point with three games remaining.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side also face a battle in reaching the Champions League Final as they trail City 2-1.

City netted two away goals meaning PSG must match that and win at the Etihad Stadium.

Only Leicester, Leeds and Manchester United have managed to win away at City this season.

PSG will need huge performances from Kylian Mbappe and Neymar to stand a chance of reaching a second consecutive Champions League Final.
