Match preview

Will Paris Saint-Germain make it two wins out of two in the Champions League this season?

Last Tuesday, Kylian Mbappé's exquisite first half brace was enough to see PSG beat Juventus 2-1 at Parc des Princes.

The gulf between the two clubs was far more vast than that scoreline would suggest.

Christophe Galtier’s team are also sitting pretty at the top of Ligue 1, only dropping points against Monaco so far.

Thus, les Rouge-et-Bleu are starting to believe that this could be their year, and they should certainly win this one.

Maccabi Haifa meanwhile set an unwanted record last Tuesday after they were beaten 2-0 at Estádio da Luz by Benfica.

The Greens have become the first club to lose seven successive Champions League matches without scoring, although the other six took place in 2009.

It is worth remembering that Barak Bakhar’s team have done remarkably well just to get here.

They beat Olympiacos, Apollon Limassol and Crvena zvezda during qualifying, the latter thanks to a stoppage time own goal in Belgrade.

However, this is almost a totally different ballgame for the Israel Champions, with PSG set to cruise to victory at Sammy Ofer Stadium.
