The Blues have only won two of their last eight home matches in the Champions League.
Bayern are in great form coming into this one, having won 10 of their last 11 matches. They have, however, shown some defensive frailties in recent weeks which will give Chelsea a chance.

Chelsea’s top-four hopes were given a major boost on Saturday as they beat rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Goals from Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso had Chelsea two up before an Antonio Rudiger own goal set up a nervous final few minutes.

The Blues were tied on 11 points and +2 goal difference with group winners Valencia, but finished second due to the head-to-head tiebreak. After losing their opening match at home to Valencia, Chelsea went the remainder of the group unbeaten.
