Wrexham keeper Joslain Mayebi tries to put off Brighton penalty taker with crazy dance

There was much to admire about Wrexham’s penalty shoot-out defeat to Brighton in an FA Cup 3rd round replay on Wednesday evening.

The Welsh side had gone ahead thanks to a stunning golazo from 37-year-old manager Andy Morrell but were pegged back by the Championship side with 13 minutes remaining.

Despite dominating the game, when the penalties did start, Wrexham were immediately behind the curve when the Welsh side saw their first spot kick saved.

Looking to get his team back into the shoot-out, Wrexham’s Cameroonian keeper Joslain Mayebi employed some crazy dances on his goal line to put off the Brighton penalty takers.

Evoking memories of the likes of Bruce Grobbelaar and Jerzy Dudek and their famous goal line rubber legs in European Cup/Champions League finals.

Mayebi’s antics for Brighton’s third penalty can be seen here.
