Former wonderkid Freddy Adu signs for Finnish club KuPS on one year deal [Best tweets]

Finnish club KuPS today confirmed the signing of 25 year old Freddy Adu on a one year deal.

Once touted as the next big thing, Adu will play football professional in his eighth country after flopping almost everywhere he’s played.

Finland’s league season is set to commence in two weeks time and KuPS will be looking to build upon their 7th placed finish in each of the past two seasons.

Unattached since being released by Jagodina in December, the deal with KuPS will go through once Freddy Adu passes his medical.

An attacking midfielder by trade, Monaco and Benfica are just two of Adu’s previous clubs.
