West Ham’s Andy Caroll may be playing his football in London at the moment, but the striker seems to be a true geordie at heart.
The former Newcastle striker was on the scoresheet for his current side, as the Hammers impressively beat a poor Liverpool side 2-0 at Upton Park yesterday.
The 26-year-old was a constant menace to the Merseyside Club’s defence all afternoon, and finally got his just rewards in the second half, when he headed him a Mark Noble cross to ensure his side claimed all three points against the club who once paid £35million for his services.
Whilst the striker may hold some sort of grudge against the Anfield side for not being given a proper chance on Merseyside, it seems that he still holds another one of his old clubs very close to his heart.
