West Ham United look to be lining up a permanent summer move for Arsenal right back Carl Jenkinson.
The 23 year old England International has been mightily impressive during his season long loan spell at Upton Park and his stay could be extended if David Gold gets his wish.
Hammers owner David Gold last night dropped a big hint that West Ham could make a permanent move from Arsenal in the near future.
Asked if Carl Jenkinson could play against Arsenal next weekend, David Gold admitted he was unavailable but dropped a subtle hint that Jenkinson will be able to play against them in the future.
Gold added ‘this year‘ to his tweet, offering West Ham fans serious hope of a permanent deal.
Jenkinson has become a regular under Sam Allardyce, making 23 Premier League appearances for the Irons.
The Arsenal loanee, famed for his dressing room banter, has a contract at Arsenal until 2018 so will command a relatively big transfer fee.
