Watch the Joey Barton sending off for QPR v Leicester; he called it “most ridiculous red card ever”

QPR suffered a seriously frustrating defeat at home to Leicester in the early Championship game on Saturday.

Harry Redknapp’s side could have gone six points clear of third place in the Championship which is significant as there would have been day light between the top two automatic promotion spots in England’s second division.

A 41st minute Jamie Vardy goal was the difference between the two sides and late on there was controversy involving non other than everyone’s favourite midfielder Joey Barton.

On 83 minutes, Barton was booked for an elbow on Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

Seconds later, after some back chat to referee Paul Tierney, Barton received his second yellow card.
