After their disastrous season both on and off the pitch it is no surprise to see players leaving Levante this summer. And Gary Megson has arguably picked up the best of the bunch in Mustapha Riga, a Ghanaian-born Dutch right winger who can play left or right and all across the front line.
The 26-year-old made his name at Sparta Rotterdam where he scored 26 goals in 68 games and his goalscoring tally for a struggling side in La Liga (28 goals in 104 games) is also relatively impressive.
Although there appear to be legal issues surrounding the move, at the most Bolton will pay £500,000 which is pretty good going considering El Hadji-Diouf joined Sunderland for £2.6million.
If Riga can build up an understanding with Johan Elmander next season, Bolton will have enough goals in them to stave off relegation. And Riga himself, knows where the goal is, a selection of his strikes for Levante can be seen here, here, here, here and here.
