Udinese claimed a 0-0 draw against Inter Milan on Thursday night in Serie A, and the Zebretta had their teenage goalie to thank for recording the stalemate in the San Siro.
Simone Scuffet, who is just 17-years-old, played his 9th league game of the season against Inter, and the teenager recorded his fifth shut-out of the campaign.
The young goalie attracts the plaudits in the final minutes of the match as the keeper made a tremendous double save to deny Esteban Cambiasso and then Danilo D’Ambrosio in quick succession.
Many now believe Scuffet to go to the World Cup as Italy’s third choice goalie behind Juventus’ Gianluigi Buffon and Paris Saint-Germain’s Salvatore Sirigu.
