Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb opened his scoring account for Algeria on Wednesday night against Romania
Spurs’ 19-year-old midfielder scored his first goal for the World Cup participants against Romania, as the teenager capitalised on a terrible handling error from the Eastern European’s Man City goalie Costel Pantilimon.
Pantilimon, who rarely got to play for City last year in their Premier League winning campaign, dropped a relatively simple cross from the Algerian left hand side on the edge of his six yard box, and Bentaleb stormed in at the right place, at the right time, to punish the Romanian keeper.
Bentaleb will likely never score an easier goal for the Desert Warriors.
