Times of India suffer a headline fail in their match report for Spurs 2 – Arsenal 2

Well this is embarrassing…

The Times of India suffered a headline FAIL this Sunday in their match report for Tottenham 2 – Arsenal 2.

The Gunners claimed a share of the spoils at White Hart Lane on Saturday when Chilean star Alexis Sanchez equalised for Arsene Wenger’s side in the second half of the North London Derby.

Arsenal were down to 10 men at the time, after Francis Coquelin had collected two yellow cards.

In a pretty lousy screw up, the Times of India labelled Alexis Sanchez as a “Mexican” in their headline on Sunday.

Don’t the have fact checkers? How can a supposed serious newspaper make mistakes like this?

Following Saturday’s results, Leicester are five points clear of Spurs at the top of the table, while Arsenal remain third, now eight points behind the Foxes.
