Thibaut Courtois pulled off a stunning save in 1st Chelsea start v Bremen

The race to be Chelsea number one officially started on Sunday as Thibaut Courtois made his first start for the Blues.

Publicly, Jose Mourinho has refused to confirm which goalkeeper will start the season as Chelsea number one.

But, Thibaut Courtois is tipped to start after some stunning displays for Atletico Madrid last season.

Courtois and Cech were given 45 minutes to impress on Sunday, in the 3-0 defeat to Werder Bremen.

The Belgian keeper pulled off a stunning save, down to his right hand side, from a header. It can be seen on the video above.

John Terry certainly seemed pleased with the save, congratulating Courtois immediately.
