The Tweets: Gary Neville continues to criticise David De Gea for mistake at Spurs

Whilst Sir Alex Ferguson’s comments about linesman Simon Beck dominate the back pages this morning, Gary Neville continues to criticise David De Gea for failing to stop Benoit Assou Ekotto’s cross for Tottenham’s late equaliser against Manchester United on Sunday.

Neville was vociferous about De Gea’s part in the goal on Sky on Sunday, even looking distressed when Jamie Redknapp tried to defend the Manchester United keeper.

And this continued on Twitter on Monday morning as Neville logged on early and interacted with fans on the social networking site.

A selection of Gary Neville’s Tweets are below.

And whilst the former Manchester United full back undoubtedly has a point, there has been very little criticism of Nemanja Vidic.

After all, the Serbian defender crashed into De Gea and was surely also somewhat culpable for the Spurs equaliser.

The picture above is reportedly how Gary Neville reacted to Clint Dempsey’s late late equaliser.
