After the Champions League action on Tuesday evening, ITV 4 are showing what looks to be a very intriguing documentary featuring Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira.
For many of us, Keane and Vieira were the two midfielders that defined an era of English football and conducted some epic battles in the middle of the park when Manchester United and Arsenal were the two best teams in the Premier League.
According to ITV, “Keane & Vieira- Best of Enemies” sees the two former greats “come face-to-face before the cameras to tell each other exactly how they saw it at the time and how they feel now, looking back….
“The two men face each other across a table candidly discussing the most tense, frustrating and important moments of their careers, including the so-called ‘Battle of Old Trafford’ in 2003. They explain why they had a fearsome bitter rivalry, and what they really thought of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger then and now.”
ITV have released two trailers for the documentary and both looks really great. They are followed below, by that tunnel incident at Highbury.
