The best back pass ever? Steven Taylor for Newcastle v Tottenham

Whilst the likes of Demba Ba and Hatem Ben Arfa will receive the plaudits for their goals in Newcastle’s win over Tottenham on Saturday, there was a pretty special defensive moment in the second half.

Newcastle keeper Tim Krul saved a Jermain Defoe effort as Spurs looked to force an equaliser and Steven Taylor kept the ball in play before calming the situation down with a very clever back pass.

The Newcastle defender simply headed the ball back to Krul as he lay prone on the ground thereby allowing the Toon keeper to pick up the ball. Genius!

Is this the best back pass ever? Any other contenders?
