David Trezeguet claimed his first ever Copa Libertadores goals on Wednesday evening as Newell’s Old Boys won 4-2 at Nacional.
The legendary French striker, now 36, appears to be closing out his career at Newell’s after a couple of seasons at River Plate.
Trezeguet came on for Newell’s at Nacional on 66 minutes with the score at 2-2.
Nine minutes later Trezeguet tapped into an empty net for his first Copa Libertadores goal.
And the former Juventus hitman wrapped things up in injury time with a very smooth finish from a ball over the top.
Still got it!
