Steven Gerrard reckons that his former Liverpool teammate Raheem Sterling can become ‘world class’ at Manchester City.
The 20-year-old left Liverpool in the summer in acrimonious circumstances in a £49 million transfer for rich Premier league rivals.
Since moving he has been a part of an impressive City attack that has helped the club win all five of their opening league fixtures.
One could argue that Sterling is already world class considering he’s leading the line for arguably the best team in England.
But perhaps Gerrard means in the same class as the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Hear him speak about Sterling in the video below.
