What a season young Dele Alli is having so far.
The 19-year-old has only played less then a dozen games in the Premier League, yet fans and pundits alike are already tipping the midfielder for greatness.
The Spurs youngster, who completed a £5million move from MK Dons in January before staying on loan in League one until the end of last season, has impressed many in England’s top flight since his debut for the North London side in August.
Alli’s impressive display’s in a Tottenham shirt, earned him a call up to the England senior side last month, with many questioning whether or not the player had done enough to deserve a place in Roy Hodgson’s squad.
But after a sensational goal and performance on Tuesday night against France at Wembley, there are very few still debating whether or not Dele Alli’s time has come too soon.
If the 19-year-old keeps up his fantastic performances for Spurs, then surely Hodsgon must take a gamble and select the energetic and skillful midfielder for his squad in the European Championships next summer.
