After his side took a battering at Reading on Friday night, Watford’s Jay DeMerit was the first guest on the show. The American centre-half talked about the upheavals at Vicarage Road this season, with new manager Brendan Rodgers taking the reigns in recent weeks. Jay then explained how he ended up in England, going from college soccer to arriving in his mate’s house in Britain and managing to get trials at various clubs.

Next, making his debut on the show was Hollywood actor Sean William Scott (looking half asleep), who talked up his new movie in which he stars with an 11-year-old kid. And lastly Jon McClure and Andy Nicholson from The Mongrels stopped in to talk with Max and Helen about their new band, which sees artists from the Arctic Monkeys, Babyshambles and other bands come together for this new project.

As a special treat there was a celebrity MMS with Roberto Carlos showing off his table tennis skills and Razor Ruddock offered Helen the opportunity to make babies.

The usual features returned including Armed Forces, Iron Soldier, Skill Skool, Crossbar Challenge, Tubes and Soccerette.
