Soccer AM: Actor overload with Jeremy Piven & The Inbetweeners

The first guest on the show was Middlesbrough’s Adam Johnson, with Max recalling how then manager Steve McClaren missed his first ever goal for Boro. The talented forward was then asked about life in the Championship, and his excellent start to the season which has seen Johnson score six and set up five so far this term.

Next, the gang from Channel 4’s The Inbetweeners plonked themselves down on the couch, with Helen and Max diving straight in to discuss the geekiness of the main protagonists on the show.

Hollywood and Entourage A-Lister, Jeremy Piven, came on the show to plug his new movie before being quizzed about his amazing career to date, and lastly Joy Division’s legendary bass guitarist Peter Hook sat on the sofa to recall his times owning The Hacienda club in Manchester and recanting stories of the famous nightclub.

Sunderland’s Andy Reid talked about through his tattoo, while Derby’s Lee Croft returned to talk about his first ever goal for the Rams.
