Samuel Eto’o stops Jimmy Jump from making history

Unlike the slack stewarding in Holland at the weekend, when serial pitch invader Jimmy Jump tried to interrupt Barcelona during their La Liga match at Racing Santander he was met with far more forceful opposition in the form of Samuel Eto’o.

According to Jimmy Jump’s website, “Jimmy has just jumped (today, February 1st, 2009) at the Sardinero, in Santander, during the match Racing – Barca. Our jumper wanted to score the goal number 5000 of the Barca history but it has been impossible and Eto’o ‘walked him’ out of the field. But Jimmy is happy because he wanted to jump where Barca played his first league match, in the 1929, and he has got it.”

While the man famous for scoring “human goals” may have missed out on making the big splash he was hoping for, we nevertheless are able to enjoy another YouTube classic.

The brilliant footage can be seen here.
