With Lucas Moura joining PSG last week and Neymar set for La Liga eventually, one of the up and coming players in Brazil’s domestic league is Romarinho.
We previously wrote about the Corinthians forward in June when Romarinho scored with his first touch in the Copa Libertadores final against Boca Juniors.
As well as being a star of the future, Romarinho has captured the imagination due to his name. The Corinthians forward is not the son of the former Brazil striker Romario but was named after him.
Just three months ago, Romarinho was playing second division level football for Bragantino after being plucked from obscurity he has become a true star to keep an eye on.
On Sunday, after a 10-game goal drought Romarinho popped up with a brilliant winner for Corinthians at Coritiba, back heeling the ball home in the 90th minute.
