Robin van Persie is cutting an increasingly frustrated and isolated figure at Man United.
The Dutch striker is in a dry patch in front of goal, but equally worrying is his body language on the pitch, and apparent lack of understanding with those around him.
It’s been a badly kept secret all season that RVP is far from content with what’s happening at United, with rumours of dissatisfaction with Moyes’ training methods refusing to go away.
And tonight, after missing a great chance towards the end of the Olympiakos defeat, RVP let some of his frustrations out to Dutch TV.
RVP said, in classic forthright Dutch style, ‘Other United players are often in the zones I’d like to play in. I find that a pity.’
