This is undoubtedly one of the best uses of the vanishing spray since it’s recent introduction into football.
Over in Brazil on Saturday night, Alex De Souza pulled together a host of former stars to play in his Palmeiras testimonial as he finished his long career in football.
Now 37-years-old, Alex is a former captain of the Brazilian national team (14 goals in 48 games) and Fenerbahce, and he has also played for Coritiba, Palmeiras, Flamengo and Cruzeiro in Brazil and Parma in Serie A.
During his farewell match, the referee made brilliant use of his vanishing spray to pay homage to the star as Alex prepred to take a free-kick.
