Pjanic on the streets of Manchester! Roma star has an offer from Old Trafford says Bosnian journalist

Bosnian journalist Mirza Dautbegovic has sent the Twittersphere into overdrive on Tuesday after reporting that Manchester United have lodged a bid for Roma’s attacking midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

Pjanic has longed been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Tottenham often name-dropped as a potential destination for the 23-year-old Bosnian international.

Rated at £20m, Pjanic impressed during the 2012-13 season with Lyon registering 6 goals and 9 assist in 29 games for club and country.

Pjanic signed a four-year contract for Roma in 2011, and the midfielder a year and a half before that deal expires in June 2015.

Pjanic is known for playing in a central, attacking role where the youngster has developed a habit of scoring long-range golazos. He is is also known for being a set-piece specialist.

The Roma midfielder has already played 25 games for club and country this season chalking up five goals and five assists.
