Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang knows how to celebrate payday.
The Gabonese forward put pen to paper on a new Borussia Dortmund deal today that committed him to the Bundesliga club for another five years.
It’s just reward for a player who had his best ever season in front of goal in what was a very troubling year for Dortmund.
Aubameyang found the back of the net 26 times and consequently attracted the attention of the likes of Arsenal and Juventus.
But new Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel slapped their hands away and told them to get lost as he prepares for the campaign ahead.
Aubameyang has been the talk of Twitter in the hours after the deal. But mainly for the positively snazzy attire he was photographed in at the time of signing.
Look at that blazer and bow tie. Magnificent way to dress when turning up for a formal event. Compare that to how Lionel Messi dressed up when he visited Aubameyang’s native Gabon.
We think the Barcelona maestro should have worn his polka dot number.
