There appears to be general consensus (finally) on Gareth Bale’s mega transfer deal from Spurs to Real Madrid this Monday morning.
Bale will be unveiled on Tuesday afternoon at the Bernabeu. Real Madrid will pay 100 million euros (86 million pounds)and the Tottenham forward will become the newest Galactico.
This is according to the press in Madrid (Marca & AS) plus a report in the Daily Telegraph this Monday morning.
Now, thoughts are turning to Bale’s first days at the Bernabeu.
Despite plenty of pictures doing the rounds, AS appear to have blagged the first legitimate picture of Bale, waiting in a Villa in Marbella for his transfer to be completed. See image above.
According to widespread reports, Spanish media are camped outside the Villa Bale is staying in but the Welsh forward has not strayed outside, according to AS.
Bale will be unveiled at 13:00 Spanish time on Tuesday afternoon, with Real Madrid Florentino Perez keen to hit the afternoon news.
Perez is also keen to give Gareth Bale his debut in a friendly match against Deportivo Ossstia on Thursday.
Real Madrid’s Trofeo Teresa Herrera match with Deportivo La Coruna currently has no Television station covering the game.
Marca predict there will be a TV station war to grab the rights for what would be Gareth Bale’s debut as a Real Madrid player.
