Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is modest to a fault.
The on-form forward scored a cracking top-corner golazo for England against Peru last, which has got everyone a bit excited as to what he can produce in Brazil.
Surprisingly, it was just Sturridge’s fourth goal for the Three Lions, and he’ll unlikely score many better in the white of England.
Afterwards, Sturridge was incredibly modest about the strike, the self-effacing forward insisting it’s ‘all about the team’.
The reporter kept at him though, and finally managed to get him to reluctantly admit that it was ‘a good goal’ through a smile he tried to force back.
Good? It was f**king brilliant!
