With 58 goals in the last two seasons in all competitions, Harry Kane deserves to be called one of the best players in the world, reckons Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino. The striker’s feats are even more impressive given his slow start to this season and the heckling he had to face from doubters who branded him a one season wonder.
Tottenham fans proudly chant that he’s one of their own but one imagines they’ll face a bit of a battle keeping him at the club this summer with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid said to be among his suitors.
But why would Kane want to leave a club he’s been with since the age of eleven, one that’s playing fantastic football and will compete in the Champions League next season? Maybe for a suntan.
Hear Pochettino praise the forward ahead of the match between Spurs and West Brom on Monday in the video below.
