Manchester United target Thiago Alcantara bags a perfect hat-trick to lead Spain U21s to silverware

Up until the final this evening, the likes of Isco and Morata had been stealing the plaudits in Israel at the Under 21 European Championships.

Tonight, however, Barcelona youngster Thiago Alcantara took the limelight as scored a first half hat-trick within 37 minutes to all but secure victory for the Spaniards in their 4-2 win over Italy.

Not only that, he scored a coveted perfect hat-trick. That being he scored with his head, his left foot, and his right foot.

With a release clause in his contract, Thiago may be tempted to join good friend and Spanish teammate David De Gea at Old Trafford.

Stuck behind the brilliance of Xavi, Iniesta and Fabregas, Thiago Alcantara could plausibly become David Moyes’ first acquisition as Manchester United boss.
