AC Milan were thrashed by Manchester City as the English champions ran out 5-1 winners in a pre-season friendly in America.
This is the second consecutive summer that City have battered Milan in a so-called friendly, spanking them 5-3 last year.
On this occasion, the goals were shared by Jovetic (11, 58), Sinclair (14), Navas (23) and Iheanacho (26) in a thoroughly clinical performance in which City killed off the game before a half hour had passed.
The Milan defence and goalkeeper Michael Agazzi in particular had a night to forget but Manuel Pellegrini will be encouraged by how emphatic City’s performances have been thus far.
Pippo Inzaghi, meanwhile, has a big job on his hands.
