The teams are in and arguably the most exciting fixture of the last 16 round is close to kick-off.

Barcelona are in England to take on Manchester City after a surprise home defeat at the weekend against Malaga.

Perhaps the Spanish side took their foot off the pedal slightly in preparation for this huge Champions League tie. They had been strolling to wins in recent weeks as their front three have linked up to wonderful effect.

City will have trouble handling the triple threat of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi. They have helped Barcelona score more than 45 goals since the turn of the year.

In that time City have scored 17 goals.

Five of them came in Saturday’s home win over Newcastle so they appear to be hitting form at the right time and could defeat Barcelona with that momentum.

However, Barcelona knocked City out of the Champions League last year and Martin Demichelis played a big part in that.

The Argentine defender was in the midst of a jittery first season at the Etihad when he brought down his compatriot Messi and gave Barcelona the initiative.

City will need the entire team to maintain composure and discipline if they are to overcome this Barcelona team.
