Every Monday Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport produce their European team of the week.
This weekend two Premier League players made the cut.
The first was no surprise: Man United starlet Marcus Rashford.
In a sign that its not just Manchester United fans and followers of Premier League football would are getting ridiculously excited about the youngster, Rushford’s double against Arsenal on Sunday earned him a starting berth in the attack.
At the other end of the pitch, despite ending up on the losing side at White Hart Lane on Sunday, Swansea keeper Lukasz Fabianski also made it into Gazzetta’s team of the week.
The 30-year-old Pole was superb against Spurs. His point-blank save from Eric Dier was incredible and his stop from one of Christian Eriksen’s free-kicks was top-class.
