Every Monday, Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport release their European team of the week, and the latest edition featured a few Premier League based player.
Manchester United forward Anthony Martial was selected in attack after the 19-year-old scored a brace in the 3-2 win at Southampton.
Martial was joined in the attack by Atletico Madrid striker Angel Correa, who scored in a 2-0 win over Eibar, and Sporting Gijon forward Antonio Sanabria would bagged a brace in his team’s win at Depor.
In the defence, Chelsea centre-half Kurt Zouma made the cut too.
Zouma scored Chelsea’s opener in the 2-0 win over Arsenal, as the young Frenchman continues to replace John Terry at the heart of the Blues backline.
Lastly, West Ham keeper Adrian got the nod in goal after his heroic performance in the Hammers’ 2-1 away win at Manchester City.
Adrian made eight saves to keep the Sky Blues at bay in the shock result of the weekend in the Premier League.
